AEREUS is a collection of 40 mm automatic dive watches designed in Sweden and crafted in CuSn8 bronze. Inspired by the Nordic archipelago, it pairs rich dial colours with a metal that develops its own patina over time. The construction includes sapphire crystal and 200 m water resistance.

The 40 mm CuSn8 bronze case gives AEREUS its warmth and distinctive presence. Brushed surfaces and a bronze dive bezel emphasise the material, which gradually develops a patina through wear and exposure. The underlying geometry stays consistent as each watch takes on a surface character of its own.

Manufactured in-house in Sweden, each AEREUS dial contrasts with the surrounding bronze. Rich colour adds depth, while luminous hands and hour markers keep the layout clear. Restrained typography and the SANDAHL trident complete a composition inspired by the collection's coastal setting.

The screw-down bronze crown carries the engraved SANDAHL trident and provides a defined grip for setting and winding. Its proportions complement the case, making it an integral part of the design. As the bronze develops its patina, this functional detail evolves with the watch around it.

AEREUS pairs cool, water-inspired dial colours with the warm tones of CuSn8 bronze. Four expressions share the same proportions and materials, each offering a different balance of contrast and depth. As the case develops a patina, the relationship between dial and metal continues to change.

WHEN THE LIGHT FADES

As daylight fades, another side of SANDAHL comes to light. LumiSand is our own luminescent compound, made in-house in our workshop in Nynäshamn, Sweden. It brings our approach to craftsmanship into the details you see after dark.

CHARGED BY LIGHT

LumiSand absorbs light and releases it as a glow in darker surroundings. Its brightness gradually fades, with the intensity and duration influenced by the light exposure before use.

From the colour of a dial to its expression after dark, every detail contributes to the character of a SANDAHL watch. Making LumiSand in our own workshop brings a personal part of our craft to that transformation.

MECHANICAL AT HEART

THE MECHANICS OF AEREUS

SANDAHL Calibre SC200 gives AEREUS its automatic mechanical heart. Wound by the motion of your wrist, the movement brings a continuous mechanical rhythm to a watch whose bronze exterior evolves with wear.

Each movement is modified and finished in-house in our workshop in Nynäshamn, Sweden, with SANDAHL rotor detailing and engraving. The watches are also assembled here, bringing the movement, locally made dial and bronze case together.

Established engineering and individual finishing give the collection a mechanical identity to match the character of its materials.
