crafted in detail

ACHROMATIC is shaped by the details — clean geometry, brushed steel, balanced proportions and mechanical depth.

case

Defined geometry and contrasting steel finishes give ACHROMATIC its distinctive profile. The circular bezel and its recessed details frame the dial, while the integrated bracelet creates a continuous silhouette. Every element contributes to a balance of strength and refinement.

dial

Manufactured in-house in Sweden, each ACHROMATIC dial explores the relationship between surface, light and mechanical depth. Minimal typography leaves room for the open-heart aperture, where the visible balance wheel brings movement to an otherwise restrained composition.

crown

The polished crown provides a tactile connection to the movement within. Defined grooves offer a secure grip, while its proportions complement the geometry of the case. The engraved SANDAHL trident gives this functional detail a distinctive finishing touch.

Four SANDAHL ACHROMATIC watches with black, blue, green and burgundy dials, arranged on brushed steel with matching glass, leather and slate accents.

colour

Colour gives each ACHROMATIC its own expression within a shared design. From deep, light-absorbing surfaces to metallic finishes that shift with the light, the collection explores contrast and depth while preserving the same clean geometry and open-heart character.

 MECHANICAL AT HEART

 THE MECHANICS OF ACHROMATIC

ACHROMATIC explores mechanical watchmaking through a distinctly Scandinavian perspective. Its open-heart architecture reveals part of the automatic movement while preserving the collection's clean and architectural character.

At its heart is SANDAHL Calibre SC110, based on the proven NH38 automatic architecture. Each movement is individually modified and finished in-house by SANDAHL WATCHES in our Swedish watch workshop, including our distinctive custom-finished rotor and engraved detailing.

The result is a mechanical watch that combines established engineering with our own approach to design, finishing and craftsmanship.
